01 What We Built
Make Ready Tools gives USPSA shooters two calculators in one place. Enter your eight most recent classifier scores once and switch between tools without re-entering anything.
Enter a hypothetical new score and see exactly what classification percentage it would produce — accounting for the oldest score being replaced and best-6-of-8 logic.
See the exact minimum score you need on your next classifier to move up a classification — calculated against your current 8 scores with the oldest removed.
02 How the Logic Works
USPSA classification is determined by averaging your best 6 scores from your 8 most recent classifiers. When you shoot a new classifier, your oldest score is removed from the pool and the new score takes its place — giving you a fresh pool of 8 to pull the best 6 from.
Make Ready Tools handles all of this automatically. You mark which score is your oldest, enter a hypothetical new score, and the tool shows you exactly which scores count, which get dropped, and what your resulting classification percentage would be.
Classification thresholds: GM ≥ 95% · M ≥ 85% · A ≥ 75% · B ≥ 60% · C ≥ 40% · D < 40%
03 Who Built This
Make Ready Tools was built by a USPSA competitor shooting B-class Carry Optics with a goal of reaching A-class. The tool started as a personal project to stop doing classification math wrong at matches and grew into something worth sharing with the wider community.

The core Make Ready Tools calculators are free to use with no account required. The site is supported by unobtrusive advertising that helps keep the tools available to the USPSA community.
