Make Ready Tools is a free web-based toolset for USPSA competitive shooters. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are. We've written it in plain language — no legalese.

The short version: Make Ready Tools does not collect, store, or sell your personal information. All calculations happen in your browser. Nothing you enter leaves your device.

01 Information We Collect

Make Ready Tools is a client-side web application. All score entry and calculation logic runs entirely in your browser. We do not have a database of user scores or personal information.

We may collect the following limited information automatically when you visit the site:

Usage data — pages visited, time on site, browser type, and device type, collected in aggregate via analytics tools (such as Google Analytics). This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.
IP address — standard web server logging. Not stored beyond standard server log retention.
Cookies — analytics and advertising cookies may be set by third-party services (see Section 4). You can disable these in your browser settings.

02 How We Use Information

Any data we collect is used solely to:

Understand how the tools are being used so we can improve them
Monitor site performance and uptime
Display relevant advertisements through Google AdSense (if enabled)

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

03 Your Score Data

The classifier scores you enter into Make Ready Tools are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. They are never transmitted to our servers, never stored in a database, and are cleared when you close or refresh the page.

Your scores stay on your device. Period.

04 Third-Party Services

Make Ready Tools may use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Google AdSense — displays advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out at google.com/settings/ads.
Google Analytics — anonymous site usage statistics. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts — fonts loaded from Google's servers. Google may log the request. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Netlify — website hosting provider. Standard server-side access logs are kept per Netlify's data retention policy. See Netlify's Privacy Policy.

05 Cookies

Make Ready Tools itself does not set cookies. Third-party services (Google AdSense, Google Analytics) may set cookies on your device. You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings or use a browser extension to block third-party cookies.

06 Children's Privacy

Make Ready Tools is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

07 Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
